home2home moves was established in 2001 by business partners Gary Abell and Tony Slater, who between them have over 20 years experience within the removal industry. Since establishing the company, the aim has been to provide a professional portfolio of services which are reliable, prompt, cost-effective and personal to each customer. We are competitive on price without compromise on the quality of service.
We offer a UK and European service with full, part and return loads. Also, in conjunction with our network of partners, we can organise moves to virtually anywhere in the world.
We are members of the BAR and joint members of the National Guild of Removers and Storers and The Removals Industry Ombudsman Scheme, working in partnership for consumer protection and participants in The Ombudsman Accredited Inspection Programme and The Ombudsman Scheme Quality Monitoring Programme, raising standards in the removals industry.
Code Of Practice
home2home moves has signed up to the BAR Code of Practice which covers private domestic removals within the UK.
The Code has been drawn up by the British Association of Removers in association with the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) and has successfully achieved Stage One of the two-stage process for full OFT approval under its new Consumer Codes Approval Scheme.
The Code sets out the standards that all BAR members must comply with in respect of customer service, fair trading, advertising and complaint handling and full compliance with the Code is mandatory upon all members of the Association. Its purpose is to maintain and, where necessary, raise standards of practice to ensure that our customers receive the most efficient and trouble-free move possible.
